This is a WordPress site running WooCommerce software that was customized to create an online and in-person tutoring platform. It allows users to search for tutors by many different filters like geographical area (if they want in-person tutoring) or by specialty and subject. They can look at the tutors available schedule and book an appointment for tutoring with the tutor.
From the site owners side, they can allow tutors to apply to become a tutor and go through an approval process that once approved, adds their information into the site and sets their base hourly rate. The tutor can then login to manage their availability schedule to confirm appointments and mark them as completed after the session. It allows for deposits to be taken during the booking process that go towards sessions, then when marked complete, it auto-charges the remainder of the session and notifies the site admin so that tutors can get payment for their time.
